Thoracic 3 - Respiratory
When the third thoracic vertebra in your upper back is subluxated (the technical term for a small misalignment) then the nerve roots that control the bronchioles can be impaired. The small cilia in the bronchioles that keep the lungs clear of debris would not function normally so viruses, bacteria and allergens could more easily infect the lung making the person more prone to asthma, bronchitis and pneumonia.

In clinical practice Dr. Greenwood sees that children and adults with asthma often get significant relief with chiropractic care. In many cases patients have been able to significantly reduce or eliminate their dependence on inhalers and other medications. Sinus problems and bronchitis also clear up quicker when the patient gets regular adjustments.

Nutritional Therapy
With upper respiratory problems we use Congaplex, Cataplex ACP, Thymex, Immuplex, Allerplex and other Standard Process™ whole food supplements. We also find that the Dolisos Cold and Flu homeopathic is very helpful when used in the early stages of colds and flus.
