2 - Appendix
Most people just think of the appendix as something that people have surgically removed. The appendix is a located at the very beginning of the large intestine (colon) where
waste material is received from the small intestine. The appendix is composed of lymphatic tissue, similar to the tonsils, which contain a dense concentration of white blood cells. So the appendix is a part of the immune system. In the same way that the tonsils protect from infection entering the throat you can think of the appendix as the tonsils of the colon.
When people get appendicitis they actually have an infection in the appendix. Most people just have their appendix taken out and go on like normal. However, having appendicitis actually means that the intestine as a whole is most likely in poor health. If you have a severe infection of the appendix it is smart to have it removed, because a ruptured appendix can spread infection into the abdominal cavity which can be fatal. However, you should really consider the health of your remaining intestinal tract.
The nerve supply to the appendix comes from the upper lumbar spine in the region of the second lumbar. Proper nerve supply keeps the tissue of the appendix healthy and functioning properly.

Zypan |
Take this is
there is indigestion soon after meals. Most cases of
gastroesophagial reflux (acid indigestion) are due to not enough
acid in the stomach as opposed to too much acid (which is what most
people think). Zypan increases stomach acid and aids digestion.
Also consider that stomach acid is a natural anti-bacterial wash for the food we eat. An infection way down in the intestine means that the bacteria had to get past a bath of pure hydrochloric acid. This person is either very acid deficient or eats too fast without chewing so that the digestive system does not have time to produce adequate acid and other secretion when the food arrives. |
| Multizyme |
As we age we tend to become digestive enzyme deficient. Multizyme
combines enzymes for digesting protein, fat and carbohydrates. |
